I live in New Mexico and I was wondering out of the Bel, Escort , or the Valentine 1 what is the best?

Some people told me Laser Detectors don’t wont in the state of California. Is this true?

Any advice on buying a radar detector? Any specific brand better than another, or anything special to look for? Also, are they considered ‘legal’ or ‘illegal’. Thank you!

I think this is an urban myth, but my friend swears a nurse she knows told her it works and loads of medical type people do it.

The theory is, the speed camera cannot ‘see’ through undeveloped x-ray film placed over the car number plate.

The number plate is supposedly still visible to the naked eye, however, so if a human cop sees you he or she will not notice anything amiss.

My reason for thinking it is an urban myth is that if it was true, why don’t we hear about people doing it? There are lots of people who would be lining up to take advantage of something like this if it was true.

Her argument to that is, how would ordinary people get undeveloped x-ray film, it’s only available via medical channels and those folks are used to keeping their mouths shut!

I know my speedometer reads fast, so I actually use two GPS systems to check my speed. I was pulled over for speeding and the cop said i was going 3 mph faster than what my gps’ were reading.

As I am passing through Duluth, Ga, I find many cops out shooting laser, radar, and just plain patrolling. I video tape a couple of them shooting at my car which is equipped with a Blinder Laser Jammer. They got nothing on me speeding by them. I recently got transferred to the middle east, I have a radar detector that worked very well in the US but has failed every time in this country. What is the problem?
