When you nominate another driver in this circumstance, do they actually check the picture taken by the speed camera to confirm the truth of your nomination?

I’ve heard and read about this alot, that if you wrap the license plate in saran wrap at night the flash from the speed camera would make the picture overexposed. If you try taking a picture of something shiny at night with a flash sometimes that thing turns out overexposed, so it got me thinking if the license plate was shiny enough would the picture turn out overexposed?

I bought one on ebay, they are legal in my state. What is the difference from a radar detector 8 years old and brand new?

I was thinking of getting a radar/laser detector. I live in Washington, but commute to Oregon daily.

say your driving down a 2 way road with traffic going opposite ways would the speed camera always be at the left side of you ?
So there is one on the opposite side for the people going the opposite way ?

I hope that makes sense.

www.SpeedCheetah.com —- The VizAlert is a wireless visual display system for your motorcycle helmet, that lets you know exactly what your radar detector is doing, without looking down. Its a heads-up display that lets you use your existing radar detector much more effectively on your bike and it can make the difference between avoiding tickets and getting them! The VizAlert is the most advanced radar detector display for motorcycles in the world. VizAlert tells you what type of radar is being detected. Its the only Heads up display system with a 6 color LED display that gives different color alerts for all the different radar and laser bands. VizAlert tells you how close to the trap you are. Its the only heads up display that flashes more quickly as the signal strength gets stronger. With slow, medium and fast flash rates, the visual alerts ramp up, just like your detector does. VizAlert is Wireless.. so there are no annoying cables attaching you to the bike. And its waterproof..so if you get caught in the rain, you wont have to replace the display like you do with other systems. We made it battery powered and motion sensitive so there are no switches where water can leak in. The display switches on when you pick up your helmet and shuts off after 10 minutes of no motion. VizAlert has automatic dimming. Its the only one with a daylight sensor so you wont light up like a Christmas tree at night. With its specially contoured baseplate, VizAlert fits every style of helmet
