you get what you pay for
A three days ago, I bought the Escort Redline Radar Detector and I am sending it back tomorrow. It’s not good at all; it was giving me false alarms most of the time and besides it was getting too hot. I now bought the Escort Passport 9500ix radar detector and I hope it can work for me. I am going crazy with those things.
do these actually work? and can you put one on your bike?
u could probly put one on ur bike if you have a battery or power source on your bike, lol, or find a battery powered one.
I’m not sure what mode my Dad has it in because it’s his detector. I’ll be sure to ask him when he gets home I’m not sure how much he has understood it. In any event, I’m driving with the Beltronics STI-R now and it’s a great detector.
Yes but not the Windshield mount style. Sensor is wired to the front, LED screen is very small also wired. Even have Audio out now if you have a stereo.
Audio out to Bluetooth headset for bikes etc. etc. many options for Bikes now.
Cobra is crap and no they arnt expensive. I wouldnt go 2 mph over the speed limit with a cobra. I use a escort passport and love it. By the way, laser jammers dont work.

@apricotsnms516 yes they work i have an ESCORT 8500 X50 it detects them a mile away plenty of time to slow down, and it really works. I had a cobra also, they give you alot of false alarms
It Depends on what radar is ran in Canada. For example, are they running any KU bands or do they run the same KA, K bands. But the 2 brands I trust in is escort passport( 8500 x50 or better) and the Valentine v1
COBRA is awesome dont know about this model but it has saved my ASH alot of time s
I wish they would come with much longer straight cords. My car cigarette lighter is in compartment between front seats and it does not reaches or if I pull the cord hard it would be very ugly .

When i was coming back from Portland on Highway 5. They had a sign that was telling me my speed with a X band this was the first time i’ve seen a X band

Allowed in California, but illegal on all military installations. I got my privilege to drive on base suspended for a month for having one.
only state radar detectors are illegal in is Connecticut i think its one of those eastern states lol
ahaha ok cheers mate! =) im currently living in France and the police do you just for accelerating! =S So it would be nice to get my hands on something that picks them up before I blip down and floor it! XD
